Sunday night I decided to camp out with the girls in the backyard and take advantage of this beautiful weather the Lord had provided us. I was especially thankful since our air conditioner decided to call it quits.
Before calling it a night I decided to check up on FB, and to my dismay we found out that my husband’s grandmother had had a heart attack and was in the hospital.
Monday morning I awoke tired, stiff, chilled, and smelling of wood smoke & got the message the Nonny had passed 😦
I have got to say my kids are little troopers. I had a million and 5 things to get done and wasn’t even sure if we were staying or going. But the girls just jumped right in and before I knew it we had broke up camp, cleaned the house and yard, did up the laundry, packed and was ready to go in no time.
As I was reflecting on how quickly and efficient we worked together and I was once again reminded of the blessings the Lord has provided our family.
Homeschooling has afforded us the opportunity to work together as a family. We have grown together, learned together, and most importantly lived & loved together.
What blessings has your family received?
