S: Scripture-Write the ONE scripture that I feel God is using to speak to me in today’s reading
O: Observation-What might He be telling me with that scripture?
A: Application-How can I apply it to my life?
P: Prayer-What is my prayer to ask God in helping me to make that application?
“But the Lord was with Joseph, and he [though a slave] was a successful and prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.”
Remember that anything is possible with the Lord. When we are having tough times the Lord will still bless us. We might not like the circumstance that we are in, but the Lord is still working in our lives. He will guide us and bless us. Sometimes life is hard, and sometimes it might seem as though nobody is there with you. There will be times were money is tight, cars brake down, someone gets sick, bills are piled up, and it will seem as though nothing is going right in your life. But remember Joseph was a slave, and he was blessed with running his masters house, and even when he was put in prison the Lord was still with him and the warden put him in charge of running the prison. So remember when times seem bleak He is always there.
Lord, Thank you for caring so much for me. Thank you for always being there even when it seems as though I am all alone. Thank you for the reminders through the Bible. Amen.
